Our story could start in a lot of places, but the shorter version is we have been transformed by God’s love and presence in this world; by Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection; and by the movement of the Holy Spirit through God’s people. 5 years ago we started dreaming up ideas about a community outreach center, and then realized if it would ever become a thing we needed to do something about it. This fall we are starting the work of planting the Beloved Community Outreach Center of Mobile, a missional project of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast.

Before there is brick and mortar we want to get to know our community better. We want to hear your stories. We want to take what is dear to us, the sacraments, out into the wild, and to discover where those outward and visible signs of God’s inward and spiritual grace may already be working in the world.
